JOSH GIBSON masterminded the look of Thicker Than Water.

Josh is a freelance cinematographer and videographer living in Chicago.  In his hometown of Peoria, Illinois, he studied theatre and television production at Illinois Central College. After three years of working for a steel factory, he left my job to take a position at a local NBC affiliated television station.  A year later, he moved to Chicago to study film at Columbia College Chicago.   While at Columbia, Josh shot dozens of student films and worked as a teacher's assistant teaching underclassmen about 16mm and 35mm motion picture cameras.  In May of 2006, he graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Cinematography. He now enjoys working freelance as the Director of Photography on narrative films; however, his true love lies in natural history filmmaking, covering topics such as endangered species and exotic ecosystems.

Josh is a vegan raw-foodist and he enjoys camping, hiking, traveling and exploring.  He is also an avid photographer of urban exploration and has had his work displayed in galleries around Chicago.
